Women’s Massage & Soft Tissue Therapy

Hands-on support for tension, aches, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, scar comfort and general wellbeing.

This is for women who want a more hands-on appointment to ease tightness, reduce discomfort and feel more comfortable in their body. Sessions are private, 1:1 and tailored to what you need on the day.

What this is

What is Women’s Massage & Soft Tissue Therapy?

Women’s Massage & Soft Tissue Therapy is a hands-on appointment focused on easing tension, improving comfort and supporting your body through different stages of life. It can be helpful during pregnancy, after birth, with general aches, scar-related tightness or simply when your body feels tense and overloaded.

This is not a spa-style massage. It is provided by an HCPC Registered Physiotherapist, so the session can be adapted around your symptoms, movement, recovery stage and comfort. You do not need to have a specific diagnosis to book.

FAQs

Women’s Massage & Soft Tissue Therapy FAQs

Is this the same as physiotherapy?

This appointment is more hands-on and focused on easing tension, aches, tightness and general discomfort. Physiotherapy is more assessment-led and usually includes a wider plan for symptoms, rehab or recovery. Garance can guide you if massage is not the best fit for what you need.

Can I book this during pregnancy?

Pregnancy massage and soft tissue support can be adapted around your stage of pregnancy, comfort and symptoms. It may help with back tension, hip tightness, general aches or feeling physically overloaded as your body changes.

Can I book this after having a baby?

This can be a lovely option after birth, especially if your body feels tense from feeding, lifting, carrying, broken sleep or recovery. Pre-crawling babies are welcome, and the appointment can pause if your baby needs you.

Can massage help with scar tightness?

Massage and soft tissue therapy can support comfort and mobility around scars, depending on your healing stage and what feels right for you. Any scar work is explained first and only done with your consent.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever helps you feel comfortable. You only need to uncover the area being treated, and only with your consent. The appointment is private, respectful and paced around what feels right for you.
