Pregnancy physiotherapy can be adapted around your stage of pregnancy, symptoms, energy levels and comfort. You might come for pain, pelvic girdle pain, back or hip discomfort, movement advice, strength work or help staying active.
Pelvic girdle pain is one of the most common reasons women book during pregnancy. We can look at what is aggravating your symptoms and work on practical ways to make walking, stairs, rolling in bed, lifting and daily movement feel more manageable.
Absolutely. You do not need to wait until something hurts. Pregnancy physiotherapy can help you adapt exercise, build strength, support your core and pelvic health, and feel more confident moving through pregnancy.
Wear something comfortable that lets you move easily. We may look at walking, posture, strength, breathing or movement, so clothing you feel relaxed in is best. The appointment will always be adapted around your comfort.
It can. We can talk through strength, pelvic health, breathing, movement, early recovery, C-section or vaginal birth considerations, and how to return to activity gradually after birth. The aim is to help you feel more prepared and less unsure.
