What is Pelvic Girdle Pain?
Pelvic Girdle Pain is a common condition where the joints of the pelvis move unevenly. It often causes significant discomfort in the pubic area or lower back, making simple daily movements feel like a constant challenge.
Previously known as Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, this condition is managed by identifying aggravating movements, improving load distribution through the pelvis, and using non-invasive strategies to reduce irritation during walking, stairs, and turning.

What causes Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP)?
PGP is usually caused by uneven movement in the pelvic joints, often triggered by hormonal changes or postural shifts during pregnancy. It is common and manageable.
Will this go away after my baby is born?
For most women, symptoms improve significantly after birth. However, targeted exercises during pregnancy can help speed up this recovery.
Can I still exercise with PGP?
Yes, but it is important to modify your movements. Avoid single-leg exercises and focus on keeping your pelvis stable to stay active comfortably.
Is it safe to get treatment while pregnant?
Absolutely. The techniques used are gentle, non-invasive, and specifically adapted to be safe for both you and your baby.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No referral is needed. You can book directly if you are experiencing discomfort and want support.
